The Varsity Gauntlet at the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games!
The invitational CrossFit Kids Varsity Gauntlet will be at the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games. The event will run Friday-Sunday, July 26-28, at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA.
The event includes Novice, Junior Varsity, and Varsity divisions TENTATIVELY scheduled to compete on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, respectively.
This Varsity Gauntlet is by INVITATION ONLY.

UTC Crossfit’s very own SARA SATER was chosen to compete in this event.
Sara’s natural skills and determination was felt by all as soon she set foot into our box. Her desire to do well and compete brought her to be able to showcase her skills at the sweet age of 17. With her never ending love and support from her father Brian who is also a BEAST, there is no limits to this young athletes future. Congrats Sara and good luck from your FAMILY here at UTC! When we grow up we want to be like you!

  1. I have to admit… it was an off day for me. 😞I passed out in the last mile at about 26min…Not happy….😝.

    Great Wod…bring your towels to wipe the sweat off the floor.

  3. I was happy there was no weight for this WOD, although it was still not easy. I feel sorry for my hamstrings this week. 32:04 RX.

    Modified WOD at LA Fitness. Row 1600m, 50 burpees, 50 air squats, row 1600m, 100 situps – time 36:32.

  5. Tony is kicking our butts into shape! Loved this WOD. Tough but felt great to cross the finish line and be done for the day.
    36:39 singles. Mucho Slow-o on the last mile.

    May need to keep this wod for a benchmark and revisit.

  8. 28:37 .. 1st mile felt strong at 6:37 pace…then the burpes oh my.. 600 singles kept hitting myself with doubles .. Will practice recovery day. Legs felt like jello last mile. Love the challenge 🙂

    That’s the most rowing and jump rope I’ve ever done in my life, so I’m proud of myself for finishing even though I scaled down 🙂

  10. WOD: 30:30/row instead of run. But i jumped on my burpees and i did doubleunders and my calf didn’t break! Well, not a lot.
