  1. Hi guys… Jess and I have have a friend that has type2 diabetes… They caught it after she started training for last years LA Marathon… She is seeing a nutritionist but she’s having a hard time finding the right balance and she has to stick to light training until she figures things out… Since she knows we train hard at UTC she wanted to see if any if our members have type2 diabetes and wants to pick your brain… Here’s her message to me…

“I was wondering if you know of anyone that works out at your gym with type 2 diabetes? If so. Can you find out what foods they eat to fuel their body during a workout or competition. Im trying to figure things out with my body. I want to continue running, but going through trouble, ugh! Thanks”

If anyone has some input and is willing to share please email me and I’ll get you connected with our friend..

    Here’s me email Maria.campau@hotmail.com

    • Sent you and email with some basic recommendations. Hope it at least gives a baseline. A lot will be documenting how she feels during workout and immediately after and let that guide her.

  2. Schon genug!! Did front squats 85#. WOD 15:13 135#, 200m row box step.
Huge group this 8am. Great job!
    Thanks, Tony!!

  3. No back squats due to wrist injury
    wod-modified
    55# dead lift
    20″ box jumps
    90 singles
Can’t wait to get the stitches out!!!

  4. Great WOD this morning 8AM! Big class! #210 ish BS, WOD 17:52 (I think) #175DL.
After a WOD like that, I feel the rest of the day is going to be pretty easy.

  5. BS: 85#
    WOD: 17:40 (I think!) Singles, deadlift #95
I think I pulled my back a bit on the right side, a little too heavy weight for deadlift. Let’s see how it feels tomorrow!
